Jemma + Mike’s rustic barn wedding was quintessentially British, with a wonderfully rustic afternoon tea party wedding reception and lawn games such as Splat the Rat & the good old fashioned Coconut Shy which entertained their guests (and me!!) no end!
They included so many thoughtful touches which all came together to create an unforgettable day!! My very own Kermit was their wedding car for the day, and my hubby proudly chauffeured the newlyweds around. Jemma and Mike carved out 20 minutes of time in their day for us to go on a little adventure, and we got lucky when I spotted the amazing corn field and pulled in for some photos before heading to Bonhams Barn, Hampshire for their reception. Stopping at a pretty location on the way to your reception venue is such a great idea, and a wonderful opportunity for some great photos, so I highly recommend doing it if you can!!!
I just adore these two, and their beautiful day. Looking back at these photos makes me so thankful that I get to do this job & capture these moments for my couples. It was very hard to pick my favourites for this post as there are so many!! And that sunset…ahhhhhh!! I was so excited taking those shots that I think I may have squealed & done a little happy dance!! When the British weather plays ball it really does deliver the best sunsets.
Jemma + Mike’s gorgeous day was also featured on one of the leading UK wedding blogs, Rock My Wedding, and you can read more about how Jemma planned their wedding here.
