They say day & night can never be together.
But in that fleeting moment where day & night do meet
and the world burns a brilliant orange,
that’s where I imagine I’ll find us…
February took us to Cornwall, to explore the rugged coastline and sit on cliff tops to admire the breathtaking views. Like always, when I venture to new places, I always get to thinking how fun it would be to photograph a couple or a bride & groom in such amazing surroundings. So this time I decided to step out of my comfort zone and put a call out for a couple in love to join me for a cliff top love shoot in Porthcurno!
When Jen + Paul got in touch, I knew they would be perfect. Married for 14 years & still very much in love, they travelled from Devon to meet me on a clifftop one very sunny but windy evening just as the sun began to set. We had the whole place to ourselves, and to say we were lucky with the weather would be an understatement! We got to witness such an epic sunset, and the golden light was a photographers dream. I had so much fun during this shoot and I’m so glad I pushed myself to make it happen. It’s not often I get to photograph a lovely couple in such an amazing location, and I hope Jen + Paul will treasure these moments I captured between them.
